I have heard many say that EEStor is a hoax and pumped up like the Segway was. I am starting to believe it.

 No.11  The Segway does exist
The Segway does exist. I rode one and you can too. Order one from the web. For only 3500-4000 bucks you can own one...

Don't invest in eestor unless you see a prototype. They keep talking about these screwball milestones, however when you are talking about the pure science of it there should be prototypes. There are not. Zenn promised eestor by the end of 2008 to be used in early 2009 for their cityzenn.

EESTOR, is suppose to have product by end of 2008.

Question: There are now 38 full days left in 2008. If we hear nothing, except perhaps apologies, from EEStor and ZENN in those 38 days, what will that mean to you, the EEStor Blogger?

I had faith in Tesla. They missed their earliest-predicted ship date by a mile, but then, as someone who has been around the block with high tech firms any number of times, I never expected them to make it. I am impressed that they got cars to owners as soon as they did.

I don't feel quite the same way about EEStor. We've been talking about them for many years, now, and as far as I know, nobody has even seen a convincing prototype. So I wonder: If 2008 passes into history with no real movement on the EEStor ultracapacitor or ultracap-powered ZENN cars, will EEStor come from behind to join Tesla as the highly-hyped "product that (eventually) could," or instead join MDI (of compressed-air car fame) as the overhyped product that, when introduced, underperformed so disappointingly that it was just this side of a hoax?

Enjoyable site.

Following the EEstor story has all the Mystery and Excitement of the show LOST. Something new for me to follow. It reminds me of the Stirling Engine.
